Mathieu Palain

Episode 12

Duration: 30.33

In this episode, Mathieu Palain—author, novelist, and named “Feminist Man of the Year” by Media Club’Elles—candidly shares his realization about the societal pressures placed on men and the impact this has on equality. In a society where gender equality is still a work in progress, where sexism remains normalized, and where masculinist rhetoric is on the rise, he has chosen a different path: to listen, to question himself, and to write. Through the lens of a journalist and writer, he addresses key issues: #MeToo, masculinity, violence against women, and, above all, the role that men can—and must—play in this collective transformation. A powerful, thought-provoking, and necessary episode.
