January Editorial by Aurore Mayer: Let’s Make 2026 a Year in Which Gender Parity Is a Given

What a wonderful year we’ve had with our “Un Une” Parity Network! After a 2024 season dedicated to building its structure, in 2025 we succeeded in turning it into a dynamic and impactful movement, deeply rooted in the daily lives of postal workers thanks to numerous initiatives across the regions and in our international subsidiaries, featuring unifying events and meaningful projects that foster engagement.

Congratulations and thank you to all of you who have worked hard on the Network’s Tour de France, on rolling out our training programs, on the Parity Awards, and on all the initiatives that raise the network’s profile and amplify our messages.

A culture of gender equality has become deeply entrenched in our Group. Convinced of the importance of gender equality, our female and male leaders work with us to promote this issue throughout all our organizations. Managers are demonstrating a strong commitment to this cause. This creates fertile ground for the changes in practices needed to make gender diversity a simple and normal reality across all roles and at every level of the organization.

That is what we are striving for: gender parity as a given. May systemic barriers give way to women’s boldness. May each woman’s self-confidence grow and be met with the trust of everyone. May we collectively experience the benefits of gender parity on the quality of life at work, on economic performance, and on our company’s ability to stay in step with society and drive its entire ecosystem toward progress.

Our network—including all members of the Steering Committee, the Parity Delegates in the regions and subsidiaries, and the Ambassadors— will continue throughout 2026 to establish the self-evident truth of gender parity in the face of limiting beliefs that still hold women back from achieving their ambitions and the various forms of the glass ceiling that continue to slow their progress. But above all, for the boldness, solidarity, and courage of each and every one of us. Because together, we can do anything.
