Webinar: “The Trapeze of Trust”

Marie Donzel is hosting a webinar on October 22 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: “The Trust Trapeze: Turning Diversity into a Driver of Performance.”

It is said that “women wait until they have 120% of the required skills, while men are content with 60% before applying for a job.” The idea that women lack self-confidence thus seems self-evident. And the notion that men are very (too?) self-assured echoes this sentiment. This paradigm of self-confidence gaps underpins a whole range of initiatives aimed at breaking through the glass
…

What if this pattern were skewed? What if men—who are all too rarely asked about the topic of self-confidence—were also plagued by doubts about their abilities and legitimacy? And if so, what opportunity do they have to express these feelings, which clash with the sociocultural imagery of “masculinity”? It is time to distinguish masculinity (which has femininity as its counterpart) from virility (which has no female equivalent) in order to make room for the diversity of men and women alike, and to envision a relationship to responsibility free from gender roles.

So, we can begin to reflect on the concept of trust: self-confidence, the trust we inspire in others and the trust we place in them, and the trust we have in the organization, society, and the future.

Ladies and gentlemen, step onto the trapeze of confidence to uncover and develop your soft skills and define your unique leadership style.
