The Réseau “Un Une” Tour de France continues… Next stop: Marseille!
Nearly 100 employees gathered, including the 40 members of the regional executive committee as well as all establishment directors, alongside identified high-potential employees and dedicated female staff members. This sends a strong message in a region that now has 22 facilities, 3 of which are led by women.
Raise awareness, explain, and inspire people to take action
This half-day session began with an introduction designed to set the stage and outline our goals regarding gender parity—a collective challenge that lies at the heart of our Group’s transformation.
On the agenda:
- (Re)defining parity, to share a common foundation
- Understanding Where We Stand at the Group level and for BSCC in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region
- Highlight the concrete actions that have already been undertaken
- Identify the drivers for bringing about change in the PACA region
Aurore Mayer, Director of the “Un Une” Parity Network, emphasized the need to put gender parity into practice at the grassroots level, calling on everyone to take action.
Inspiring discussions to overcome obstacles
Highlights of the afternoon: inspiring testimonials, panel discussions, and presentations, focusing in particular on limiting beliefs and self-censorship, which still too often hold back career advancement, particularly for women.
The discussions also provided insights into how to dare to break down barriers to access to leadership positions, by recognizing the impact of stereotypes and the mechanisms at play.
Finally, the EMRG’s presentation highlighted the concrete support measures and tools for developing career paths, all aimed at advancing the professional growth of employees.
Fostering Local Initiatives
Beyond raising awareness, this event had a clear goal:
Inspire people to take action and foster a local movement around the Réseau “Un Une”
By identifying key partners, promoting existing initiatives, and fostering dialogue, this meeting lays the groundwork for a lasting commitment in the PACA region.
Because gender parity cannot be mandated; it is built collectively, on the ground, in close collaboration with the teams.
